been seeing this trend of lately, dudes are wearing chains made of some kind of black metal material, what i wanted to know, is what kind of material is it???

I think you are looking at hematite. Hematite is black and has a mirror sheen to it. It's also made into a lot of types of beads and other jewelry components.
